The Arabic Church of Houston (ACH) is a missions-minded church that puts a lot of emphasis on home missions and missions in the Middle East. Brother Raja El Achi leads our mission efforts in the Middle East and Brother Issa Kabar leads the local ministry with the refugees in Houston. Both are ready to help you get involved!
There are various ministries of outreach to special Arab-speaking groups in Houston, including people who came as immigrants and refugees from troubled countries which have special needs.
The church also has an active ministry connecting with missions in the Middle East particularly medical missions. ACH supports Health Outreach to the Middle East (HOME) for Christ in its medical mission ministry (www.home4him.org). Many of the members of the church are physicians who are actively involved in HOME and have a leadership position with HOME. In addition, the healthcare workers in the church have participated over the last 15 years in various medical mission trips to the Middle East (such as Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Jordan) in coordination with HOME. For more information on how you can be involved overseas contact our Manager of Missions and Children Raja El Achi.
